The African Exfoliating Net Sponge, also know as a Sapo, is used to gently exfoliate the skin by removing dead skin cells. It can also be used on the body and on the feet. Benefits of using the African Exfoliating Net sponge vs a loofah include:
– Serves as an exfoliator and does not unravel over time
– Dries faster than a typical loofah and prevents the accumulation and breeding of bacteria

Cleaning instructions:
Soak in a mixture of 2 tbs of baking soda, 1/2 cup vinegar and 3-4 cups water for 15 minutes before use.
Textures:
Medium Soft: The exfoliating smooth sponge is best used for the body and gently on the face.
Coarse: The coarse sponge is best used for feet and elbows.
Sizing ranges from medium to large.

Although i haven’t been able to try the other products yet, (I’m waiting on their arrival) the medium/soft African sponge on my face with black soap as my first soap on my double cleanse has been phenomenal. I don’t even know who’s face this is anymore 😅
Secondly the coarse African sponge on my body with black soap as my first soap on my double cleanse also phenomenal! I got rid of my loofah same day 🤷🏾♀️ Looking forward to trying other products from the marketplace 🤗

I have never tried an African Exfoliating Sponge and wanted to see if it was really worth the hype. IT IS!!! Money well spent is my experience so far. I have used loofahs for most of my life but I heard about these African exfoliating sponges and decided to try it. I bought two, a coarse one for my feet and a medium soft for my body because I wanted to be gentle on my skin. I have used it for about 4 months and well, I honestly found it to be better than the loofahs I’ve been using. I take my skincare very seriously and I do think my skin is really soft but after using this, I found that my skin felt even softer. And it was cleaner as well! I do recommend this as I intend to keep using it.
